What’s new

Release notes for every version, newest first.

0.2.0 TestFlight beta

New in this build

  • A first-run welcome tour: choose your folders, make your first project, and practise on pretend files before touching real ones. Reopen it any time from Help ▸ Welcome Tour.
  • Skip can now be undone with ⌘Z.
  • Show in Finder works on cards, grid selections and individual files in a group (⌥⌘R).
  • Deselect All in the grid, with Escape, a click on empty space, or ⌥⌘A.

Sorting

  • One key or one drag per file: 1–9 picks a project, Return accepts the suggestion, Delete sends a file to the Trash, S skips, Space opens Quick Look, G toggles the grid, U splits a group, ⌘Z undoes.
  • Cards fly in an arc into their project slot, and streaks speed the animations up.
  • Suggestions learned from the website a file came from and the words in its name.
  • Related files stay together on one card: a zip and its unpacked folder, one name in several formats, version series and camera bursts.
  • Files from one download session become one card, with each file landing in the right subfolder. Batching can also be by website, or off.
  • Grid view with large previews, multi-select and Quick Look.
  • Sort Downloads, Desktop or any folder you choose. A menu bar icon counts new files in each folder.

Safety

  • Files are never renamed. Name clashes offer Skip, Replace (the old copy goes to the Trash) or Put in _conflicts.
  • Exact duplicates are detected by content and can be trashed in one key.
  • No date folders, ever.
  • Every action can be undone during the session, including Trash, Replace, Skip and Offload.

Projects and offload

  • Projects are a root folder plus editable roles. Start from a template or adopt existing subfolders.
  • Offload moves whole projects to any drive with the same folder structure, verifying every file with SHA-256 before removing the original.
  • Drives are recognised by volume identity, not name. Undo Offload brings a project back. Tested on APFS, exFAT and HFS+.

Delight

  • Trashed files crumple into a 3D paper ball. Confetti when a folder is clear.
  • Animations never block input and respect Reduce Motion.
